Skills for the Social Studies classroom are for life. As the drop-down menu suggests, students will find advice on a variety of life skills such as research, writing, speaking, presenting, source analysis, and more. (but focused on the Social Studies classroom!) Many of the activities in this section are also geared to foster collaboration amoung students as well as critical thinking. Ideas draw upon School Reform Initiative and various thinking routines.
